Certificate of Mastery in Effective Leadership (CMEL) - In-Person
Certificate of Mastery in Effective Leadership is a development experience made specifically for EVS leaders in healthcare. You and your team play an essential role in your organizations by keeping patients and employees healthy and improving clinical outcomes. This experience is designed to help you become a more effective leader and have a bigger impact on your organization. It will empower you to take “a seat at the table” with other leaders by demonstrating your value to your partners, stakeholders, and other leaders.
Please note that the CMEL program consists of three phases.
Phase 1: Online Coursework (September 22-November 21)
Phase 2: In-Person Meeting in Chicago, IL (October 22, 8:30am-4:30pm)
Phase 3: Capstone Project (Due at end of coursework on November 21, 2025)
Registration includes all three phases and all three must be completed to earn your Certificate of Mastery in Effective Leadership.

Certificate of Mastery in Product Selection (CMPS) - In-Person

The Certificate of Mastery in Infection Prevention (CMIP) program is a testament to your expertise and commitment. It equips EVS leaders with the knowledge to meet the CMS requirements for a ‘trained’ professional in infection prevention and control specific to the clinical care environment. This comprehensive program, combining online and in-person training, cultivates and validates the knowledge required to implement infection prevention strategies effectively and improve outcomes.
